It’s Jungle out there.

I just came back from Rome after 2 days meeting. This meeting is about getting to know all of my colleagues in the same field that I am who are scattered around the world.

It was a nice trip but I failed to bond with the others. As I look back now, I think I did not bond because I saw a room of politicians. A room full of hypocrites. Everyone was after their own benefit ( “ Arent we all” would be the answer but at what cost?). Gossiping, back stabbing. Oh gosh you name it everything was happening.

Yet no one will agree that was happening. In turn, if I voice this, that would be end of my career. “One less competitor” for them.

It’s a jungle out there and I wonder what kind of tool I should give my son to survive in this world.

Having said the above I must admit there were some good souls as well.

Love is a Triangular with 3 corners because for every ME and YOU there is SHE.

Tell me what you think then I shall explain further.

. Men has reached moon but he is yet to understand women

They say God created humans from his image, Now the question is, GOD is male or female?
Because we humans never could understand this species called Human. Both men and women totally opposite sex but yet they fit together in some odd way.

Thousands of book has been written and still being written about this human relationship. Men has reached moon but he is yet to understand women.
Why men act as they act? Why woman act as they act? They say all the good men has been taken. I just could not agree to this statement. IF all men are taken then why still there are better part of this world getting united in a holy matrimony between men and women? Maybe the natures answer to the question would be same sex marriage. Is this we call evolution?

Any Wizards out there got any Solution?

Coffee Shop Economy talk

Me and my friend mike had a very good debate about Economy the other day.

Below is the actuall transcript of that chat:

PM: mike i just had this weird idea
what is the population of malaysia?
27 million?
mike: i think it's around there
indians r 2M
PM: what is Petronas income per annum?
i think 80 billion no?
Mike: yup
PM: you and I are malaysians right?
Mike: i'm not sure abt that ..
PM: hahahaha
Mike: but thats what our IC says
we r penumpang (temporary citizens)
thats the latest title
PM: anyway.... what is wrong in malaysia giving each malaysian 1 million
out 80 billion
Mike: then what ?
petronas close shop ?
every one is rich .. no body wana work ...
PM: how much they loose..... 27 million only compared to billions of ringgit poured into abandoned projects
Mike: abandoned project money only goes to certain families
PM: aha there is where ppl come in... it is 1 time pay off
if you survive then you survive if not then you work
Mike: no lah .. ... come to reality
PM: why not?
Mike: not practical
PM: why not?
Mike: if u r given such a huge amt money .. u will be lazy ..
or u will called as a malay
u r future generation will be useless ..
PM: well think abt it everybody benefits from it
even the malays will support this idea
Mike: maybe become drug addicts ..
no body will do any kind of job.. u need to get foreign workers in to the country
to do the odd job ..
soon they will start to rob u .. when u r alone
PM: i doubt that .....
Mike: crime rate will go up !!!
PM: if every 1 is rich why should i rob you?
Mike: ppl will be gambling every day
thats where u not looking on a wider scope
if every one is rich .. who is gona do DBKL job ?
Tenaga's job?
PM: I do understand the wider scope...am looking at the glass half full you are looking at it as half empty that is the difference
Mike: u wana work as GRO ?
PM: well that means the capitalist market is all wrong
Mike: indons .. bangla .. flipinas will take over the job ..
it will become like vegas ..
PM: because the current system makes rich ppl richer the poor ppl poorer
Mike: its evolution
PM: evolution?
Mike: yeh ....
when everone is rich ... again some party will become poor .. n some will be extra rich
PM: yeh true
Mike: the mil .. becomes bill ..
PM: but life quality will be upgraded
Mike: u should play 'Tycoon' in facebook
PM: no more squatters
Mike: u think ?
PM: yes i seriously think so
Mike: where will the banglas .. indons will stay ?
PM: banglas and indons kick them off
Mike: then who will clean u r streets ?
collect u r rubbish ?
PM: more job opportunities for the locals
Mike: remember every one is rich now
but u have given them 1M
PM: yes rich is in what sense... we are richer now by comparison to our forefathers but does that mean we are millionaires.... no
it is merely to induce local economy and to increase life quality
Mike: wait .. u r changing the subject now
PM: hahahah
Mike: 1) u gave 1M to every one
PM: yes
Mike: 2) means every body's bank a/c got 1M
PM: yes
Mike: 3) with 1M in the bank account .. u offer him a job to collect rubish n wash toilet ?
PM: aha am not offering job
Mike: wait...
let me rephrase the sentence
PM: this is a good topic
Mike: with 1M in every M'sians bank account ..
PM: yes
Mike: who will clean the roads ?
PM: ok with 1 million in your acount ... would you quit your job?
Mike: if i'm washing toilers... hell yes
PM: why you would quit the job?
Mike: if u r in war tone country .. feeding refuges .. i think u wana quit as well
PM: nope i would not definitely i would not quit
Mike: why i would quit a job ? cauz i dowan to wash toilet for living..
PM: ok good....how long do you think your 1mill will last?
Mike: if u r smart .. u can multiply it ..
else .. u will gamble ..loose all the money ...
PM: remember you are toilet cleaner
Mike: one u loose it u will go to u r friend n borrow his 500K
u will gamble .. n loose it also ..
then the guy takes a knife n kill's him
he will go to jail ..
the remaining 500K ,, need to be bribe to the police n lawyers ..
bring the guy out ...
so the money has caused .. ppl to gamble .. kill ... bribe .. etc
in one year ..time (after giving out the 1M)
the country will be in KO's
PM: yeah but that is already happening now it is not something new
Mike: it will speed up the process
10 years of evolution will become 1 year
PM: the good part is the genuinely smart ppl will better off and it will induce the country economy
Mike: greed will increase ...
greed
PM: ppl will have more purchasing power
Mike: for a very short period
Exponential growth is bad for economy
it's a bubble
PM: yeah b ut it will boost the economy some sort of stimulation package
Mike: The bubbles will bust
cauz ppl like soros will jump in
market will be floating in a bubble
PM: we have measure for that in place
Mike: when he puls out ... every one dies
PM: Anadha krishan pulled out of bursa why?
Mike: he only pulled out Maxis shares
PM: because malaysian market is not what it seems
with ppl having purchasing power the market will boom
Mike: cauz Malaysian market is not matured for telco business
look at teressa kok
she was captured under ISA
PM: huh? mike that is totally 2 different thing
Mike: the china man community warned the gov
the market will down 20% ... each day
they released her on sat
cauz the market is controled by cina man .... not Ananda Krishnan
PM: in the case of teresa kok... the market is still going down
PM: and i beg to differ also on the issue of china man controlling the market..that is not what the intan or something like that report stated...remember the chinaman quit

Big trouble in Little India: MIC vs Pakatan
By CHRISTINA KOH

IPOH: The city’s “Little India” is shaping out to be the scene of a battle for two political parties fighting for the right to hold their own grand Deepavali celebration.

One group is led by Perak executive councillor A. Sivanesan from Pakatan Rakyat, who is crossing swords with an equally determined Perak MIC chairman Datuk G. Rajoo over the matter.

Sivanesan, who is also state Health, Environment and Human Resource Committee chairman, said the state government had as of Monday rejected Rajoo’s application to hold the celebration at Little India.

Sivanesan said this was because Pakatan planned to have its own festival there with the feedback and participation of local hawkers, businessmen and organisations.

“In the past, Ipoh Barat MIC has never involved the public when the party organises the celebration. We’ve received complaints from the traders of Little India,” he claimed.

“This time however, the community will themselves decide with Pakatan how the celebration should be done,” he told reporters at the State Secretariat here on Monday.

Sivanesan also accused the MIC of having previous Deepavali celebrations to profit from the festival, such as through the sale of trading lots.

“But we (Pakatan) are not doing it to make money. As a veteran politician, Rajoo should understand that the final decision is in the hands of the state executive council,” he said.

“The council officers are mere civil servants who should take instruction from the state and perform accordingly,” he added.

A defiant Rajoo said Ipoh Barat MIC would carry on preparations for the Deepavali celebration, which it had been doing for the past 16 years.

Rajoo said the party had already received approval in May from the Ipoh City Council to have the week-long celebration in Little India.

“We paid RM2,600 (for the security deposit) and we were issued an official receipt. We’ve even received payment for 83 stalls from traders.

“Now all of a sudden, Sivanesan wants to have the celebration in the same place which is very unfair. We are not doing this illegally,” he said.

Rajoo argued that the council was an independent body and that Sivanesan should not have meddled in a lawfully approved event.

He also denied that the MIC never involved the public or held such events to make profit, adding that the party even subsidised the celebration so that the Indian traders and community could benefit.

“We are not money-minded. We are a non-profit body. We are running the celebration for the people,” he retorted.

***************************************

A person with common sense would definitely say that if this celebration is in the benefit of the people then, a politician who has peoples welfare in mind, would definitely back down. But here in the issue above, It seems like both parties are fighting for recognization.

Indians generally never been united since the great empire days of Shivaji, Raja Raja Cholan or Srivijayan so on so forth. Am not a scholar in histories but my common sense tells me that if these great Kings had reunited at the time of Genghis khan invasion in the north, then we wouldn't have the Baburs and the khans in India.

Not only that, They basically cant even get along among themselves simply because stupid caste believes.
Anyone who has read the holy books of hindu would understand that the caste system mentioned in the books are basically to divide people into categories so that easier to manage them by profession.

Since the caste system originated by profession then it should  stick to it. But along the way, some of the hindu's smart Alecs decided that Caste is a birth right hence so much of problems. Therefore i am convinced Indians would never unite.

Imagine what Indians could achieve if they could unite. They are educated, smart, resourceful and they have diversity of culture.

BN did it now Pakatan Doing it

UPDATE2: I Heard that the person instructed to demolish the Temple is now suspended pending investigation. Now this what we need Proactive goverment. Good Job Pakatan Keep it up.

UPDATE: One of the Dailies in Malaysia stated that the Temple committee decided to tear down the temple for fce lift. If that is true the I apologies to Pakatan but I have 2 questions.

1/ What the Heck the officers doing there if it was committee who decide to tear down? were they looking for part time job?

2/ Why no members of the committee came up to explain if it was truly their decision?

As far as i know, Once Hindu Temples constructed, it will take a lot rituals to move the temple especially if the Temple is very old Temple.

Dudes, wake up dont play with religion. Its dangerous man.

Temple demolition: ‘Officers acted against state directive’
By DHARMENDER SINGH, EDWARD RAJENDRA and A. LETCHUMANAN
KLANG: The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) officers who tore down a Hindu temple had acted against a state government directive barring the destruction of places of worship.
State Local Government, Study and Research Committee chairman Ronnie Liu said the state government had issued an order asking all local councils to halt such actions against all places of worship.
It had issued the directive when it first came into power after the March 8 general election.
The Sri Maha Kaliamman temple in Kampung Tasik, Jalan Baru in Ampang was torn down on Sept 9.
These officers had openly defied the order, he said, and had also by-passed the committee on non-Muslim affairs headed by state executive councillors Teresa Kok, Dr Xavier Jayakumar and Liu himself.
“I contacted the council president a day after the incident and asked him investigate the matter and identify those involved.
“I was told he has submitted a preliminary report to my office but I have not read it since I am away in China now; it would be unfair for me comment further on the incident until I have done so,” he said when contacted on Thursday.
Liu had told a press conference a day after the incident that he was upset with the council officers’ move and warned they would face stern action, including being given the sack.
MIC President Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu also condemned the action, saying it went against the Opposition’s promise during the election campaign not to demolish any temples.
“It is very careless of the local council to demolish the temple without first relocating the temple,” he said in a statement.
After being informed of the demolition of the temple on Wednesday, Selangor MIC Youth chief M. Yogeswaran immediately lodged a report at the Ampang Jaya police station.
Human Resources Minister Datuk S. Subramaniam said the MIC was extremely disappointed with the Pakatan Rakyat state government and the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ).
“Our stand all along has been that if a temple needs to be relocated due to road expansion or some other major development, it can be relocated with the agreement that a new place of worship be built in an ideal area,” he said.

What a an eye opener, So this has nothing to do with political parties. It has a lot to do with DUMB mentality of these dumb idiot officers or is it?

Hindus, Budhhist, Taoist and Others ( as stated in their Mykards) Pack your bags and leave
This GOD Forsaken country. The moment One has no respect for another's religion, the moment one being fanatic about his/her religion and starts bitching about other religion, Then it is the moment to pack your bags and leave.

Leave the country for themselves and watch the fireworks from a far.I have only 1 sentence for Pakatan dont be another Pariah. keep up your to your promise.

This is interesting I would follow up in this issue and see where it leads. Now the status is " preminalary Report submitted". Ok lets see the next step.

916 Came and Went.

Another promise made, and broken. It seems for politicians, making promises are like giving out candies and poor layman has to live and strife on these words. When a promise is broken trust is also broken. As for that matter I never trusted politicians.

A lot of hope and trust were trashed on 16/9/2008. As I have written before, Annuar still cannot be trusted and he is still yet to prove he is worthy of those votes.

No doubt there have been a lot of changes taking place since the opposition took the 5 states ( according to my friends) but I am yet to see the ultimate change in the policies that will foster this nation’s building blocks of unity. In the last couple of months we have seen a dramatic increase in court cases. There are ample of examples just go and look in to Malaysian dailies.

Once in a while the ugliness creeps its head out and shows to the nation that it would take not 5 but another life time before we see real unity among races living in Malaysia.
The current government is still going ahead with its agenda despite public out cry. This shows that they don’t give rat’s a#$ about what you and I think. I still remember those old days where I could easily befriend and talk to any race in fact I HAD a number friends from the Major race but now, they have disappeared. Either they have become Ultra or just passive too scared to voice their grievance.

If the force behind the current government or anyone who wants to head this nation wants really to see the Unity among the racs, then they should start with fostering it in the Schools.
That is your cradle. But unfortunately nothing has been done to either to start working or shown any interest. There is a lot of talking about this though but am yet to see it materialize.

Take your time and visit the schools. Just stand there during the “Perhimpunan” and watch. You will understand what I mean. Good number of people in teaching profession also is not satisfied with the current system but what can they do? They are merely wage earners not decision makers. Every single step taken by the current government is showing that UNITY is not in their Agenda. They want to Divide and rule just like the British did 50 years ago. As long as the country is in chaos, someone is gaining from it.

Who is gaining? I leave it up to your imaginary.

Where is Malaysian Hindu Sangam Stand?

Sunday September 14, 2008
Let Teresa have her religious rights, say Christian leaders
PETALING JAYA: Christian leaders are appealing to the authorities to allow Selangor senior executive councillor Teresa Kok to practise her religious rights as a Catholic while in detention.
Bishop Dr Paul Tan Chee Ing said Kok should be allowed to pray with other Christians and attend Sunday mass as it was obligatory for all Catholics.
“She should also be allowed to see a priest to minister to her spiritual needs,” he said.
The Christian Federation of Malaysia chairman also hoped that Kok and the other Internal Security Act (ISA) detainee – Malaysia Today news portal editor Raja Petra Kamaruddin – be tried as soon as possible.
Council of Churches Malaysia general-secretary Reverend Dr Herman Shastri said messages had been sent to numerous churches to pray for those detained under ISA.

*****************************************************

At least there is some other religious entity coming out and speaking for Teresa Kok's spritual welfare. Where were Malaysia hindu Sangam when 5 of our hindraf leadears were arrested under ISA ( Draconian law). Malaysian Hindu Sangam supposedly to represent Hindu's and guide them in obeserving Hindu religious activities but so far what I have seen and heard is they are good only to sell Karpurum( Camphor) during Thaipusam ( a religious festival for hindus). This is what I learnt from people because based on their society registration that is what exactly they are athorized to do. So in what athourity they can advice hindus on the do's and don'ts.
Leaders in Malaysia Hindu Sangam....Dont you have principles? dont you have Bhakti hell dont you have balls???

I call upon new breed of hindus who know the religion very well to register a new association that truly represents and guides Hindus in malaysia and boldly speaks about oppresion done against Hindus.

Hell, better still, screw everyone and force the goverment to accept the registration of HINDRAF as the ultimate entity that governs the Hindus practice of hinduism in Malaysia.

Ahmad didn’t mean it, says Abdullah

KEPALA BATAS: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will personally see to it that Bukit Bendera Umno chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail does not repeat his remarks about the Chinese community.
“I will tell him not to do it again. You know in a campaign all sorts of things can come up. I don’t think he meant it. I’ll make sure to tell him not to use it again,” the Prime Minister said after chairing the Bertam Umno division meeting yesterday.
Ahmad had allegedly called the Chinese pendatang (immigrants) and was also reported to have said that “as the Chinese were only immigrants it was impossible to achieve equal rights amongst races” during a ceramah in Permatang Pauh in Aug 25.
He had allegedly uttered the remarks in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

--------------------------------------------

Come On give me a break. Do this people really think Malaysian citizens have pea brains?
In the span of 3 months we already had 3 incidents involving public servants either uttering racial slur or calling them derogatory names. Worst still this last incident mentioned above was uttered in the presence of Deputy Prime minister. These are the people leading Malaysia at the moment. Imagine where Malaysia would it be by 2011.

And what these so called leaders call all these incidents " I am sure they did not mean it".What the F@#$ is this?

YOu as a leader should take prompt and swift action by smacking on these morons heads by saying " Gomen in Bapak engkau punya ke"( This Goverment is it your fathers?) and straight way strip their tittles and their jobs. Or suspend them until they publicly apologize to the people involved.
By doing this, in future your moron staffs will be more careful when dealing with people.

Dont we have any calibre leaders left in malaysia? Dont Suggest Anuar Ibrahim. He is yet to prove himself worthy of those votes.

Damn! Damn! Damn!....Sad Sad Sad.

How Come How Long, It's not Right , Its So wrong

How Come How Long, It's not Right , Its So wrong. Those are lyrics of Babyface's Song title and Chorus written by Stevie Wonder in 1997.

Today while I was flying, I was listening to this song from my Ipod. I did not even know I had this song. I guess, this song was written with a lady in mind but The Chorus caught my attention. Why? Because it expressed exactly my feelings towards my motherland, Malaysia with what these people are doing to her. It expressed exactly what I wish to tell to my fellow Malaysians.

Here is the Chorus.

How come, how long
Its not right, its so wrong
Do we let it just go on
Turn our backs and carry on
Wake up, for its too late
Right now, we cant wait
She wont have a second try
Open up your hearts
As well as your eyes

If anyone gets a chance to listen to this song, you will know exactly what I mean. But just before you listen to this song, make sure you know what’s going on in our political climate. I definitely would like one of my good friend to listen to this song. Then it would make sense. Wake up my fellow Malaysians.

Today my beloved country celebrates 51st Independence. Somehow rather I feel we are light years away from the true meaning of Independence. I feel so sad for my motherland my heart goes for her as my tears flow down remembering what she is going thru. With Heavy Heart I wish Happy Independence day MOM. I swear Sons of you would not let you cry no more. We will rise against all odds and save you from this suffering, save you from these scavengers.

Rakyat and the Parliment

Thursday August 28, 2008 MYT 3:26:56 PM
Only question time is aired live, says Info Minister
By LEE YUK PENG
KUALA LUMPUR: The live telecast of Dewan Rakyat sitting is only to cover the first 30 minutes of question time, says Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
He said the live telecast also does not cover the doa (prayers) nor does it cover any announcement made by the speaker presiding the sitting.
“It starts with the first question listed for question time,” said Ahmad Shabery.
Explaining the reason why Permatang Pauh MP Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s swearing-in ceremony was not telecast live, Ahmad Shabery said there was also no live telecast for the swearing-in ceremony of the 222 MPs after the general election.
The live telecast of the Dewan Rakyat sitting started on April 30 which was the first day of question time while all MPs took their oath on April 28.
Ahmad Shabery also said there was nothing special about one MP swearing in.
“We want to devote the air time to question time,” he told reporters Thursday at the Parliament Lobby.
Ahmad Shabery also said such practice would continue should there be any by-election in the future.
He also said that even if the Barisan Nasional candidate were to win in a by-election, there would not be any live telecast for the swearing-in ceremony.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abd Aziz who is in charge of Parliament affairs, said: “Our agreement is to telecast only the question time and not other matters.
“It does not matter when the question time starts but we will only show the first 30 minutes of it,” he said.

We the Rakyat Demand you broadcast the full session of the parliment. You are there to decide whats best for us with the authority given to you by us. Now, with the same authority we demand you to broadcastthe full session as it involves our daily survival issues.

We want to see how you fight our cause. This is a way we evaluate your performance.

IF you deny us that rights , you are not doing your job as per your Job Description because we dont see your output.

Therefore, before your terms is over, if any occassion arises that we see deem fit to sack you, REST ASSURED WE WILL.

Politician who is more concern about the Seat then Peoples Problem

Thursday August 28, 2008 MYT 3:26:56 PM
‘Tsunami’ in the House
By ZULKIFLI ABD RAHMAN
KUALA LUMPUR: Former Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang (DAP-Ipoh Timur) seemed to be energised by the return of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to Parliament when he was asking a supplementary question during question time on Thursday.
Lim stood up and congratulated him for returning to Parliament after an absence of 10 years.
"With the success of the second political tsunami in Permatang Pauh and the coming of the 'Titanic' next time ...," he said, while his voice was drowned out by Barisan Nasional backbenchers, who shouted at him not to waste time and told him to ask the relevant question.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, who was replying to Lim about the issue of illegal immigrants in Sabah, stood up and immediately doused Lim's good mood.
"I admit there are things such as tsunamis or Titanic in politics, and that's why your seat has been blown to that side," he added to laughter from the Barisan backbenchers.
Nazri was referring to Lim's former seat at the first seat of the Opposition bench, which was designated as the Opposition Leader's seat.
Lim is now sitting four places away from his original seat, which he had occupied before the March general election.

I just dont have any words to describe the mentality of BN's MPs. What are these Pariahs doing in the parliment?

Revocation of VOA ( Visa on Arrival)

The Star Newspaper

Thursday August 28, 2008
Govt revokes VOAs for three countries
SEREMBAN: The Government has revoked the visa-on-arrival (VOA) facility for nationals from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The ruling came into effect on Aug 1.
“A Home Ministry circular has been sent out on the latest directive. We do not know why there has been this sudden change in policy,” a source said.
He said the VOA privilege, introduced in September 2006 to promote tourism, would not be extended to nationals from Afghanistan, Colombia, Israel, Montenegro, Serbia and 21 countries in the African continent as well.
It is learnt that the Cabinet made the decision at a recent meeting.
The VOA allows foreign tourists to apply for a 30-day visa at six major entry points.
They are the KL International Airport, Bayan Lepas, Senai, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu internartional airports and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex in Tanjung Kupang, Johor.
Applicants need to pay RM100 for the VOA.
In June, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung had said that 68,238 of the 208,451 holders of VOAs had overstayed, with Indian nationals the biggest culprits at 35,912, followed by Pakistanis (13,014), Bangladeshis (6,688), Chinese (5,452) and Sri Lankans (5,093).
The source said it did not make sense for the VOA to be revoked when the Government was aggressively promoting tourism.
He said that those granted VOAs must also have sponsors here.
Immigration director-general Datuk Mahmood Adam confirmed the VOA revocation order for certain countries.
“Several high commissions and embassies have appealed to review the ruling.
“We will forward this to the Home Ministry for consideration,” he added.

Great... They say something and do something else. This is BN. What bout thousands if not Millions of Indonesians that over stayed what about thousands chinese nationals. What about thousands of MyKard issued to thousands of Indonesians and yet Malaysian Indians who were born and Raised in Malaysia still waiting for legal MyKards. The Biggest culprits are not Indians as per the paper , the biggest culprits are the Goverment.

This is 50 yrs ruling of Draconian Goverment

Nation in Distress

Since the By election, There is hope that I can see over the Horizon. Where there is hope there is definitely success. Therefore my beloved Flag and nation, fly high again enough suffering as I have described below.
I carry on my shoulders the name Malaysia each and every time I leave Malaysia and if I might add I do carry it in the big league.

So here I am one day back home after retiring from world scene, trying to earn a decent living. My wife and I were very much interested in education. I tried setting up a business in the education line and eventually ended up closing the business because I could not get the license.

The damn officer in one of the ministry in Putrajaya. Couldn’t care less of what I have to say. We tried all legitimate venues and finally exhausted our money and venue I approached the ministers private secretary. After I introduced my self and the achievements I have brought to Malaysia. After telling him all my over seas stints that carried Malaysia name, he just said 1 thing… BULLSHIT !!!.

That set me off. I told him, I swear 1 day you will be out of the post and that day I will come and see him again. And that day is not too far ahead.

For people like myself. Genuinely worked to uphold Malaysia’s good name, that is the reward we get from the politicians. For people like myself who genuinely carry on their shoulder Malaysia’s name abroad, that is the response we get from politicians.

Like me, there are thousands of unsung heroes who still carry Malaysia’s name and Flag high each and every time they respond to their task overseas.

I challenge anyone who dares to accuse me not being patriotic.

Malays Who claim to be Bumiputera ( sons of the land) from Reid Commission point of View

Article 153 has been a source of controversy since the early days of Malaysia. In particular, it was not entirely clear if Article 153 was predicated on the Malays' economic status at the time, or if it was meant to recognise Bumiputra as a special class of citizens. Some took the latter view, like Singaporean politician Lee Kuan Yew of the People's Action Party (PAP), who publicly questioned the need for Article 153 in Parliament, and called for a "Malaysian Malaysia". In a speech, Lee bemoaned what would later be described as the Malaysian social contract:
"According to history, Malays began to migrate to Malaysia in noticeable numbers only about 700 years ago. Of the 39% Malays in Malaysia today, about one-third are comparatively new immigrants like the secretary-general of UMNO, Dato' Syed Ja'afar Albar, who came to Malaya from Indonesia just before the war at the age of more than thirty. Therefore it is wrong and illogical for a particular racial group to think that they are more justified to be called Malaysians and that the others can become Malaysian only through their favour."[5]
Lee also criticised the government's policies by stating that "[t]hey, the Malay, have the right as Malaysian citizens to go up to the level of training and education that the more competitive societies, the non-Malay society, has produced. That is what must be done, isn't it? Not to feed them with this obscurantist doctrine that all they have got to do is to get Malay rights for the few special Malays and their problem has been resolved."[6] He also lamented "Malaysia — to whom does it belong? To Malaysians. But who are Malaysians? I hope I am, Mr Speaker, Sir. But sometimes, sitting in this chamber, I doubt whether I am allowed to be a Malaysian."[7]
Lee's statements upset many, especially politicians from the Alliance. Then Finance Minister Tan Siew Sin called Lee the "greatest, disruptive force in the entire history of Malaysia and Malaya."[8] The Tunku considered Lee to be too extremist in his views, while other UMNO politicians thought Lee was simply taking advantage of the situation to pander to the Chinese Malaysians.[9] PAP-UMNO relations were chilled further when UMNO officials publicly backed the opposition Singapore Alliance Party in Singapore's 1963 general election and PAP responded in turn by fielding several candidates in the Malaysian federal elections in 1964. These acts were seen by each party as challenges of the other's authority in their respective domains, and in violation of previous agreements made by the PAP and UMNO before merger not to contest each other's elections until Malaysia had matured enough.[10] The tension led to the 1964 racial riots in Singapore that killed 36 people. Eventually, the Tunku decided to ask Singapore, through Lee and some of his closest confidantes, to secede from Malaysia. Eventually, Lee agreed to do so, and Singapore became an independent nation in 1965, with Lee as its first Prime Minister.[7] The Constitution of Singapore contains an article, Article 152, that names the Malays as "indigenous people" of Singapore and therefore requiring special safeguarding of their rights and privileges as such. However, the article specifies no policies for such safeguarding.

as Article 160 of the Constitution defines a Malay as a Muslim Malaysian citizen born to another Malaysian citizen, other people, such as the Chief Minister of Selangor, Khir Toyo, whose father was an Indonesian immigrant, have benefited from Article 153 and the privileges it entails.[4]

All of these thiefs currently in power, robbing malaysians especially the real bumiputras should be stripped of their tittles and their assets should be frozen.

1/4 cents of worth contribution for my religion

Hindu Rituals and Routines
Why do we follow them?

Introduction
Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life. Unlike other religions, Hindu dharma has many specialties. This is not known as a religion, it is known as the dharma; Sanaathana Dharma. Sanaathana means, according to Bhagavath Geetha, which cannot be destroyed by fire, weapons, water, air, and which is present in all living and non living being. Dharma means, the way of life which is the ‘total of all aachaaraas or customs and rituals’.

Sanaathana Dharma has its foundation on scientific spirituality. In the entire ancient Hindu literature we can see that science and spirituality are integrated. It is mentioned in the 40th chapter of the Yajurveda known as Eesaavaasya Upanishad that use scientific knowledge for solving problems in our life and use the spiritual knowledge for attaining immortality through philosophical outlook.

Remember that in each and every aachaaraa there will be a component of spirituality in it. Without spirituality, nothing exists in Sanaathana dharma. Generally everyone bear a wrong impression that this spirituality is religion. Spirituality is different in Hindu dharma. Here the question of religion does not exist at all, because Hindu dharma was not created by an individual, prophet or an incarnation. Spirituality is a part of every Hindu custom in the normal life of a Hindu.

Aachaaraas are to be followed based on their merits available from the self experience; you need not blindly follow a teacher or someone who gives advice without reasoning. All these aachaaraas are mentioned for the prosperity of the human beings and it should be the prime focus for practicing the Hindu aachaaraas.

Achaaryaath paadam aadatthe
paadam sishya swamedhayaa
paadam sa brahmachaaribhya
sesham kaala kramena cha

This is an important advice given in smruthies. It means a person can get only one quarter of knowledge from Achaarya - the teacher, another quarter by analyzing self, one quarter by discussing with others and the last quarter during the process of living by method addition, deletion, correction, and modification of already known aachaaraas or new aachaaraas.

Aachaaraath labhathe hi ayu:
aachaaraath dhanamakshayam
aachaaraath labhathe suprajaa:
aachaaro ahanthya lakshanam

Aachaaraas are followed for the psychological and physiological health and long life; Aachaaraas are followed for prosperity and wealth; Aachaaraas are followed for strong family and social bondage and following the Aachaaraas give a fine personality, dharmic outlook and vision, says our dharmasaastra.

In India everyone followed Aachaaraas for the above mentioned psychological, physiological, family relation, social benefits and national integration based benefits. It is your right and duty to understand scientifically, rationally and logically the meaning of each and every Aachaaraas and follow the same in your life systematically.

1. Why do we light a lamp?
In almost every Indian home a lamp is lit daily before the altar of the Lord. In some houses it is lit at dawn, in some, twice a day – at dawn and dusk – and in a few it is maintained continuously - Akhanda Deepa. All auspicious functions commence with the lighting of the lamp, which is often maintained right through the occasion.

Light symbolizes knowledge, and darkness - ignorance. The Lord is the "Knowledge Principle" (Chaitanya) who is the source, the enlivener and the illuminator of all knowledge. Hence light is worshiped as the Lord himself.

Knowledge removes ignorance just as light removes darkness. Also knowledge is a lasting inner wealth by which all outer achievement can be accomplished. Hence we light the lamp to bow down to knowledge as the greatest of all forms of wealth.

Why not light a bulb or tube light? That too would remove darkness. But the traditional oil lamp has a further spiritual significance. The oil or ghee in the lamp symbolizes our vaasanas or negative tendencies and the wick, the ego. When lit by spiritual knowledge, the vaasanas get slowly exhausted and the ego too finally perishes. The flame of a lamp always burns upwards. Similarly we should acquire such knowledge as to take us towards higher ideals.

Whilst lighting the lamp we thus pray:

Deepajyothi parabrahma
Deepa sarva tamopahaha
Deepena saadhyate saram
Sandhyaa deepo namostute

I prostrate to the dawn/dusk lamp; whose light is the Knowledge Principle (the Supreme Lord), which removes the darkness of ignorance and by which all can be achieved in life.

2. Why do we have a prayer room?
Most Indian homes have a prayer room or altar. A lamp is lit and the Lord worshipped each day. Other spiritual practices like japa - repetition of the Lord’s name, meditation, paaraayana - reading of the scriptures, prayers, and devotional singing etc are also done here. Special worship is done on auspicious occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, festivals and the like. Each member of the family - young or old - communes with and worships the Divine here.

The Lord is the entire creation. He is therefore the true owner of the house we live in too. The prayer room is the Master room of the house. We are the earthly occupants of His property. This notion rids us of false pride and possessiveness.

The ideal attitude to take is to regard the Lord as the true owner of our homes and us as caretakers of His home. But if that is rather difficult, we could at least think of Him as a very welcome guest. Just as we would house an important guest in the best comfort, so too we felicitate the Lord’s presence in our homes by having a prayer room or altar, which is, at all times, kept clean and well-decorated.

Also the Lord is all pervading. To remind us that He resides in our homes with us, we have prayer rooms. Without the grace of the Lord, no task can be successfully or easily accomplished. We invoke His grace by communing with Him in the prayer room each day and on special occasions.

Each room in a house is dedicated to a specific function like the bedroom for resting, the drawing room to receive guests, the kitchen for cooking etc. The furniture, decor and the atmosphere of each room are made conducive to the purpose it serves. So too for the purpose of meditation, worship and prayer, we should have a conducive atmosphere - hence the need for a prayer room.

Sacred thoughts and sound vibrations pervade the place and influence the minds of those who spend time there. Spiritual thoughts and vibrations accumulated through regular meditation, worship and chanting done there pervade the prayer room. Even when we are tired or agitated, by just sitting in the prayer room for a while, we feel calm, rejuvenated and spiritually uplifted.

3. Why do we do Namaste?
Indians greet each other with namaste. The two palms are placed together in front of the chest and the head bows whilst saying the word namaste. This greeting is for all - people younger than us, of our own age, those older than friends, even strangers and us.

There are five forms of formal traditional greeting enjoined in the shaastras of which namaskaram is one. This is understood as prostration but it actually refers to paying homage as we do today when we greet each other with a namaste.

Namaste could be just a casual or formal greeting, a cultural convention or an act of worship. However there is much more to it than meets the eye. In Sanskrit namah + te = namaste. It means - I bow to you - my greetings, salutations or prostration to you. Namaha can also be literally interpreted as "na ma" (not mine). It has a spiritual significance of negating or reducing one’s ego in the presence of another.

The real meeting between people is the meeting of their minds. When we greet another, we do so with namaste, which means, "may our minds meet," indicated by the folded palms placed before the chest. The bowing down of the head is a gracious form of extending friendship in love and humility

The spiritual meaning is even deeper. The life force, the divinity, the Self or the Lord in me is the same in all. Recognizing this oneness with the meeting of the palms, we salute with head bowed the Divinity in the person we meet. That is why sometimes, we close our eyes as we do namaste to a revered person or the Lord – as if to look within. The gesture is often accompanied by words like "Ram Ram,” "Jai Shri Krishna", "Namo Narayana", "Jai Siya Ram", "Om Shanti" etc - indicating the recognition of this divinity.

When we know this significance, our greeting does not remain just a superficial gesture or word but paves the way for a deeper communion with another in an atmosphere of love and respect.

4. Why do we prostrate before parents and elders?
Indians prostrate before their parents, elders, teachers and noble souls by touching their feet. The elder in turn blesses us by placing his or her hand on or over our heads. Prostration is done daily, when we meet elders and particularly on important occasions like the beginning of a new task, birthdays, festivals etc. In certain traditional circles, prostration is accompanied by abhivaadana, which serves to introduce one-self, announce one’s family and social stature.

Man stands on his feet. Touching the feet in prostration is a sign of respect for the age, maturity, nobility and divinity that our elders personify. It symbolizes our recognition of their selfless love for us and the sacrifices they have done for our welfare. It is a way of humbly acknowledging the greatness of another. This tradition reflects the strong family ties, which has been one of India’s enduring strengths.

The good wishes (Sankalpa) and blessings (aashirvaada) of elders are highly valued in India. We prostrate to seek them. Good thoughts create positive vibrations. Good wishes springing from a heart full of love, divinity and nobility have a tremendous strength. When we prostrate with humility and respect, we invoke the good wishes and blessings of elders, which flow in the form of positive energy to envelop us. This is why the posture assumed whether it is in the standing or prone position, enables the entire body to receive the energy thus received.

The different forms of showing respect are :
Pratuthana:
Rising to welcome a person.

Namaskaara:
Paying homage in the form of namaste

Upasangrahan:
Touching the feet of elders or teachers.

Shaashtaanga:
Prostrating fully with the feet, knees, stomach, chest, forehead and arms touching the ground in front of the elder.

Pratyabivaadana:
Returning a greeting.

Rules are prescribed in our scriptures as to who should prostrate to whom. Wealth, family name, age, moral strength and spiritual knowledge in ascending order of importance qualified men to receive respect. This is why a king though the ruler of the land, would prostrate before a spiritual master. Epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata have many stories highlighting this aspect.

5. Why do we wear marks (tilak, pottu and the like) on the forehead?
The tilak or pottu invokes a feeling of sanctity in the wearer and others. It is recognized as a religious mark. Its form and colour vary according to one’s caste, religious sect or the form of the Lord worshipped.

In earlier times, the four castes (based on varna or colour) - Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Sudra - applied marks differently. The brahmin applied a white chandan mark signifying purity, as his profession was of a priestly or academic nature. The kshatriya applied a red kumkum mark signifying valour as he belonged to warrior races. The vaishya wore a yellow kesar or turmeric mark signifying prosperity as he was a businessman or trader devoted to creation of wealth. The sudra applied a black bhasma, kasturi or charcoal mark signifying service as he supported the work of the other three divisions.

Also Vishnu worshippers apply a chandan tilak of the shape of "U,” Shiva worshippers a tripundra of bhasma, Devi worshippers a red dot of kumkum and so on).

The tilak cover the spot between the eyebrows, which is the seat of memory and thinking. It is known as the Aajna Chakra in the language of Yoga. The tilak is applied with the prayer - "May I remember the Lord. May this pious feeling pervade all my activities. May I be righteous in my deeds.” Even when we temporarily forget this prayerful attitude the mark on another reminds us of our resolve. The tilak is thus a blessing of the Lord and a protection against wrong tendencies and forces.

The entire body emanates energy in the form of electromagnetic waves - the forehead and the subtle spot between the eyebrows especially so. That is why worry generates heat and causes a headache. The tilak and pottu cools the forehead, protects us and prevents energy loss. Sometimes the entire forehead is covered with chandan or bhasma. Using plastic reusable "stick bindis" is not very beneficial, even though it serves the purpose of decoration.

6. Why do we not touch papers, books and people with the feet?
To Indians, knowledge is sacred and divine. So it must be given respect at all times. Nowadays we separate subjects as sacred and secular. But in ancient India every subject - academic or spiritual - was considered divine and taught by the guru in the gurukula.

The custom of not stepping on educational tools is a frequent reminder of the high position accorded to knowledge in Indian culture. From an early age, this wisdom fosters in us a deep reverence for books and education. This is also the reason why we worship books, vehicles and instruments once a year on Saraswathi Pooja or Ayudha Pooja day, dedicated to the Goddess of Learning. In fact, each day before starting our studies, we pray:

Saraswati namasthubhyam Varade kaama roopini Vidyaarambham karishyaami Sidhirbhavatu me sadaa

O Goddess Saraswati, the giver of Boons and fulfiller of wishes, I prostrate to You before starting my studies. May you always fulfill me?

7. To touch another with the feet is considered an act of misdemeanor. Why is this so?
Man is regarded as the most beautiful, living breathing temple of the Lord! Therefore touching another with the feet is akin to disrespecting the divinity within him or her. This calls for an immediate apology, which is offered with reverence and humility.

8. Why do we apply the holy ash?
The ash of any burnt object is not regarded as holy ash. Bhasma (the holy ash) is the ash from the homa (sacrificial fire) where special wood along with ghee and other herbs is offered as worship of the Lord. Or the deity is worshipped by pouring ash as abhisheka and is then distributed as bhasma.

Bhasma is generally applied on the forehead. Some apply it on certain parts of the body like the upper arms, chest etc. Some ascetics rub it all over the body. Many consume a pinch of it each time they receive it.

The word bhasma means, "that by which our sins are destroyed and the Lord is remembered.” Bha implied bhartsanam ("to destroy") and sma implies smaranam ("to remember"). The application of bhasma therefore signifies destruction of the evil and remembrance of the divine. Bhasma is called vibhuti (which means "glory") as it gives glory to one who applies it and raksha (which means a source of protection) as it protects the wearer from ill health and evil, by purifying him or her.

Homa (offering of oblations into the fire with sacred chants) signifies the offering or surrender of the ego and egocentric desires into the flame of knowledge or a noble and selfless cause. The consequent ash signifies the purity of the mind, which results from such actions.

Also the fire of knowledge burns the oblation and wood signifying ignorance and inertia respectively. The ash we apply indicates that we should burn false identification with the body and become free of the limitations of birth and death. This is not to be misconstrued as a morose reminder of death but as a powerful pointer towards the fact that time and tide wait for none.

Bhasma is specially associated with Lord Shiva who applies it all over His body. Shiva devotes apply bhasma as a tripundra. When applied with a red spot at the center, the mark symbolizes Shiva-Shakti (the unity of energy and matter that creates the entire seen and unseen universe).

Tryambakam yajaamahe Sugandhim pushtivardhanam Urvaa rukamiva bhandhanaan Mrytyor muksheeyamaa amrutaat

"We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva who nourishes and spread fragrance in our lives. May He free us from the shackles of sorrow, change and death – effortlessly, like the fall of a rip brinjal from its stem."

9. Why do offer food to the Lord before eating it?
Indians make an offering of food to the Lord and later partake of it as prasaada - a holy gift from the Lord. In our daily ritualistic worship (pooja) too we offer naivedyam (food) to the Lord.

The Lord is omnipotent and omniscient. Man is a part, while the Lord is the totality. All that we do is by His strength and knowledge alone. Hence what we receive in life as a result of our actions is really His alone. We acknowledge this through the act of offering food to Him. This is exemplified by the Hindi words "tera tujko arpan"– I offer what is Yours to You. Thereafter it is akin to His gift to us, graced by His divine touch.

Knowing this, our entire attitude to food and the act of eating changes. The food offered will naturally be pure and the best. We share what we get with others before consuming it. We do not demand, complain or criticise the quality of the food we get. We eat it with cheerful acceptance (prasaada buddhi).

Before we partake of our daily meals we first sprinkle water around the plate as an act of purification. Five morsels of food are placed on the side of the plate acknowledging the debt owed by us to the Divine forces (devta runa) for their benign grace and protection, our ancestors (pitru runa) for giving us their lineage and a family culture, the sages (rishi runa) as our religion and culture have been "realised", aintained and handed down to us by them, our fellow beings (manushya runa) who constitute society without the support of which we could not live as we do and other living beings (bhuta runa) for serving us selflessly.

Thereafter the Lord, the life force, who is also within us as the five life-giving physiological functions, is offered the food. This is done with the chant

praanaaya swaahaa, apaanaaya swaahaa, vyaanaaya swaahaa, udaanaaya swaahaa, samaanaaya swaahaa, brahmane swaahaa

After offering the food thus, it is eaten as prasaada - blessed food.

10. Why do we fast?
Most devout Indians fast regularly or on special occasions like festivals. On such days they do not eat at all, eat once or make do with fruits or a special diet of simple food.

Fasting in Sanskrit is called upavaasa. Upa means "near" + vaasa means "to stay". Upavaasa therefore means staying near (the Lord), meaning the attainment of close mental proximity with the Lord. Then what has upavaasa to do with food?

A lot of our time and energy is spent in procuring food items, preparing, cooking, eating and digesting food. Certain food types make our minds dull and agitated. Hence on certain days man decides to save time and conserve his energy by eating either simple, light food or totally abstaining from eating so that his mind becomes alert and pure. The mind, otherwise pre-occupied by the thought of food, now entertains noble thoughts and stays with the Lord. Since it is a self-imposed form of discipline it is usually adhered to with joy

Also every system needs a break and an overhaul to work at its best. Rest and a change of diet during fasting is very good for the digestive system and the entire body.

The more you indulge the senses, the more they make their demands. Fasting helps us to cultivate control over our senses, sublimate our desires and guide our minds to be poised and at peace.

Fasting should not make us weak, irritable or create an urge to indulge later. This happens when there is no noble goal behind fasting.

The Bhagavad-Gita urges us to eat appropriately - neither too less nor too much - yukta-aahaara and to eat simple, pure and healthy food (a saatvik diet) even when not fasting.

11. Why do we do pradakshina (circumambulate)?
We cannot draw a circle without a center point. The Lord is the center, source and essence of our lives. Recognizing Him as the focal point in our lives, we go about doing our daily chores. This is the significance of pradakshina.

Also every point on the circumference of a circle is equidistant from the center. This means that wherever or whoever we may be, we are equally close to the Lord. His grace flows towards us without partiality.

12. Why is pradakshina done only in a clockwise manner?
The reason is not, as a person said, to avoid a traffic jam! As we do pradakshina, the Lord is always on our right. In India the right side symbolizes auspiciousness. So as we circumambulate the sanctum sanctorum we remind ourselves to lead an auspicious life of righteousness, with the Lord who is the indispensable source of help and strength, as our guide - the "right hand".

Indian scriptures enjoin - matrudevo bhava, pitrudevo bhava, acharyadevo bhava. May you consider your parents and teachers as you would the Lord. With this in mind we also do pradakshina around our parents and divine personages.

After the completion of traditional worship (pooja), we customarily do pradakshina around ourselves. In this way we recognize and remember the supreme divinity within us, which alone is idolized in the form of the Lord that we worship outside.

13. Why do we regard trees and plants as sacred?
The Lord, the life in us, pervades all living beings, be they plants or animals. Hence, they are all regarded as sacred. Human life on earth depends on plants and trees. They give us the vital factors that make life possible on earth: food, oxygen, clothing, shelter, medicines etc.

Hence, in India, we are taught to regard trees and plants as sacred. Indians scriptures tell us to plant ten trees if, for any reason, we have to cut one. We are advised to use parts of trees and plants only as much as is needed for food, fuel, shelter etc. we are also urged to apologies to a plant or tree before cutting it to avoid incurring a specific sin named soona.

Certain trees and plants like tulasi, peepal etc., which have tremendous beneficial qualities, are worshipped till today. It is believed that divine beings manifest as trees and plants, and many people worship them to fulfill their desires or to please the Lord.

14. Why do we ring the bell in a temple?
Is it to wake up the Lord? But the Lord never sleeps. Is it to let the Lord know we have come? He does not need to be told, as He is all knowing. Is it a form of seeking permission to enter His precinct? It is a homecoming and therefore entry needs no permission. The Lord welcomes us at all times. Then why do we ring the bell?

The ringing of the bell produces what is regarded as an auspicious sound. It produces the sound Om, the universal name of the Lord. There should be auspiciousness within and without, to gain the vision of the Lord who is all-auspiciousness.

Even while doing the ritualistic aarati, we ring the bell. It is sometimes accompanied by the auspicious sounds of the conch and other musical instruments. An added significance of ringing the bell, conch and other instruments is that they help drowned any inauspicious or irrelevant noises and comments that might disturb or distract the worshippers in their devotional ardour, concentration and inner peace.

As we start the daily ritualistic worship (pooja) we ring the bell, chanting:

Aagamaarthamtu devaanaam gamanaarthamtu rakshasaam Kurve ghantaaravam tatra devataahvaahna lakshanam

I ring this bell indicating the invocation of divinity, So that virtuous and noble forces enter (my home and heart); and the demonic and evil forces from within and without, depart.

15. Why do we worship the kalasha?
First of all what is a kalasha? A brass, mud or copper pot is filled with water. Mango leaves are placed in the mouth of the pot and a coconut is placed over it. A red or white thread is tied around its neck or sometimes all around it in a intricate diamond-shaped pattern. The pot may be decorated wit designs. Such a pot is known as a kalasha.

When the pot is filled with water or rice, it is known as purnakumbha representing the inert body which when filled with the divine life force gains the power to do all the wonderful things that makes life what it is.

A kalasha is placed with due rituals on all-important occasions like the traditional house warming (grihapravesa), wedding, daily worship etc. It is placed near the entrance as a sign of welcome. It is also used in a traditional manner while receiving holy personages. Why do we worship the kalasha? Before the creation came into being, Lord Vishnu was reclining on His snake-bed in the milky ocean. From His navel emerged a lotus from which appeared Lord Brahma, the creator, who thereafter created this world.

The water in the kalasha symbolizes the primordial water from which the entire creation emerged. It is the giver of life to all and has the potential of creating innumerable names and forms, the inert objects and the sentient beings and all that is auspicious in the world from the energy behind the universe. The leaves and coconut represent creation.

The thread represents the love that "binds" all in creation. The kalasha is therefore considered auspicious and worshipped. The waters from all the holy rivers, the knowledge of all the Vedas and the blessings of all the deities are invoked in the kalasha and its water is thereafter used for all the rituals, including the abhisheka.

The consecration (kumbhaabhisheka) of a temple is done in a grand manner with elaborate rituals including the pouring of one or more kalashas of holy water on the top of the temple. When the asuras and devas churned the milky ocean, the Lord appeared bearing the pot of nectar, which blessed one with everlasting life.

Thus the kalasha also symbolizes immortality. Men of wisdom are full and complete as they identify with the infinite Truth (poornatvam). They brim with joy and love and respect all that is auspicious. We greet them with a purnakumbha ("full pot") acknowledging their greatness and as a sign of respectful and reverential welcome, with a "full heart".

16. Why do we consider the lotus as special?
The lotus is the symbol of truth, auspiciousness and beauty (satyam, shivam, sundaram). The Lord is also that nature and therefore, His various aspects are compared to a lotus (i.e. lotus-eyes, lotus feet, lotus hands, the lotus of the heart etc.).

The lotus blooms with the rising sun and close at night. Similarly, our minds open up and expand with the light of knowledge. The lotus grows even in slushy areas. It remains beautiful and untainted despite its surroundings, reminding us that we too can and should strive to remain pure and beautiful within, under all circumstances.

The lotus leaf never gets wet even though it is always in water. It symbolizes the man of wisdom (gyaani) who remains ever joyous, unaffected by the world of sorrow and change. This is revealed in a shloka from the Bhagwad-Geeta:

Brahmanyaadhaaya karmaani Sangam tyaktvaa karoti yaha Lipyate na sa paapena Padma patram ivaambhasaa

He who does actions, offering them to Brahman (the Supreme), abandoning attachment, is not tainted by sin, just as a lotus leaf remains unaffected by the water on it.

From this, we learn that what is natural to the man of wisdom becomes a discipline to be practiced by all saadhakas or spiritual seekers and devotees. Our bodies have certain energy centers described in the Yoga Shaastras as chakras.

Each one is associated with lotus that has a certain number of petals. For example, a lotus with a thousand petals represents the Sahasra chakra at the top of the head, which opens when the yogi attains Godhood or Realisation. Also, the lotus posture (padmaasana) is recommended when one sits for meditation. A lotus emerged from the navel of Lord Vishnu. Lord Brahma originated from it to create the world. Hence, the lotus symbolizes the link between the creator and the supreme Cause.

It also symbolizes Brahmaloka, the abode of Lord Brahma. The auspicious sign of the swastika is said to have evolved from the lotus.

17. Why do we worship tulasi?
In Sanskrit, tulanaa naasti athaiva tulasi - that which is incomparable (in its qualities) is the tulasi

For Indians it is one of the most sacred plants. In fact it is known to be the only thing used in worship, which, once used, can be washed and reused in pooja - as it is regarded so self-purifying.

As one story goes, Tulasi was the devoted wife of Shankhachuda, a celestial being. She believed that Lord Krishna tricked her into sinning. So she cursed Him to become a stone (shaaligraama). Seeing her devotion and adhered to righteousness, the Lord blessed her saying that she would become the worshipped plant, tulasi that would adorn His head.

Also that all offerings would be incomplete without the tulasi leaf - hence the worship of tulasi.

She also symbolises Goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu. Those who wish to be righteous and have a happy family life worship the tulasi.

Tulasi is married to the Lord with all pomp and show as in any wedding.

This is because according to another legend, the Lord blessed her to be His consort. Satyabhama once weighed Lord Krishna against all her legendary wealth. The scales did not balance till a single tulasi leaf was placed along with the wealth on the scale by Rukmini with devotion.

Thus the tulasi played the vital role of demonstrating to the world that even a small object offered with devotion means more to the Lord than all the wealth in the world.

The tulasi leaf has great medicinal value and is used to cure various ailments, including the common cold.
Yanmule sarvatirhaani Yannagre sarvadevataa Yanmadhye sarvavedaascha Tulasi taam namaamyaham
I bow down to the tulasi, At whose base are all the holy places, At whose top reside all the deities and In whose middle are all the Vedas.

18. Why do we blow the conch?
When the conch is blown, the primordial sound of Om emanates. Om is an auspicious sound that was chanted by the Lord before creating the world. It represents the world and the Truth behind it.

As the story goes, the demon Shankhaasura defeated devas, the Vedas and went to the bottom of the ocean. The devas appealed to Lord Vishnu for help. He incarnated as Matsya Avataara - the "fish incarnation" and killed Shankhaasura. The Lord blew the conch-shaped bone of his ear and head. The Om sound emanated, from which emerged the Vedas.

All knowledge enshrined in the Vedas is an elaboration of Om. The conch therefore is known as shankha after Shankaasua. The conch blown by the Lord is called Paanchajanya. He carries it at all times in one of His four hands.

It represents dharma or righteousness that is one of the four goals (purushaarthas) of life. The sound of the conch is thus also the victory call of good over evil.

Another well-known purpose of blowing the conch and the instruments, known traditionally to produce auspicious sounds is to drown or mask negative comments or noises that may disturb or upset the atmosphere or the minds of worshippers.

Ancient India lived in her villages. Each village was presided over by a primary temple and several small ones. During the aarati performed after all-important poojas and on sacred occasions, the conch used to be blown. Since villages were generally small, the sound of the conch would be heard all over the village. People who could not make it to the temple were reminded to stop whatever they were doing, at least for a few seconds, and mentally bow to the Lord. The conch sound served to briefly elevate people's minds to a prayerful attitude even in the middle of their busy daily routine.

The conch is placed at the altar in temples and homes next to the Lord as a symbol of Naada Brahma (Truth), the Vedas, Om, dharma, victory and auspiciousness. It is often used to offer devotees thirtha (sanctified water) to raise their minds to the highest Truth. It is worshipped with the following verse.
Twam puraa saagarot pannaha Vishnunaa vidhrutahakare Devaischa poojitha sarvahi Panchjanya namostu te

Salutations to Panchajanya the conch born of the ocean Held in the hand of Lord Vishnu and worshipped by all devaas

19. Why do we say shaanti thrice?
Shaanti, meaning "peace", is a natural state of being. Disturbances are created either by others or us. For example, peace already exists in a place until someone makes noise.

Therefore, peace underlies all our agitations. When agitations end, peace is naturally experienced since it was already there. Where there is peace, there is happiness. Therefore, every one without exception desires peace in his/her life.
However, peace within or without seems very hard to attain because it is covered by our own agitations. A rare few manage to remain peaceful within even in the midst of external agitation and troubles. To invoke peace, we chant prayers. By chanting prayers, troubles end and peace is experienced internally, irrespective of the external disturbances. All such prayers end by chanting shaanti thrice.

It is believed that trivaram satyam - that which is said thrice comes true. For emphasizing a point we repeat a thing thrice. In the court of law also, one who takes the witness stands says, "I shall speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth".

We chant shaanti thrice to emphasise our intense desire for peace. All obstacles, problems and sorrows originate from three sources.

Aadhidaivika : The unseen divine forces over which we have little or no control like earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions etc.

Aadhibhautika: The known factors around us like accidents, human contacts, pollution, crime etc.

Aadhyaatmika : We sincerely pray to the Lord that at least while we undertake special tasks or even in our daily lives, there are no problems or that, problems are minimised from the three sources written about above.

May peace alone prevail. Hence shaanti is chanted thrice.

It is chanted aloud the first time, addressing the unseen forces. It is chanted softer the second time, directed to our immediate surroundings and those around, and softest the last time as it is addressed to oneself.

20. Why do we offer a coconut?
In India one of the most common offerings in a temple is a coconut. It is also offered on occasions like weddings, festivals, the use of a new vehicle, bridge, house etc. It is offered in the sacrificial fire whilst performing homa. The coconut is broken and placed before the Lord. It is later distributed as prasaada.

The fibre covering of the dried coconut is removed except for a tuft on the top. The marks on the coconut make it look like the head of a human being. The coconut is broken, symbolising the breaking of the ego. The juice within, representing the inner tendencies (vaasanas) is offered along with the white kernel - the mind, to the Lord.

A mind thus purified by the touch of the Lord is used as prasaada ( a holy gift). In the traditional abhishekha ritual done in all temples and many homes, several materials are poured over the deity like milk, curd, honey, tender coconut water, sandal paste, holy ash etc. Each material has a specific significance of bestowing certain benefits on worshippers. Tender coconut water is used in abhisheka rituals since it is believed to bestow spiritual growth on the seeker.

The coconut also symbolises selfless service. Every part of the tree -the trunk, leaves, fruit, coir etc. Is used in innumerable ways like thatches, mats, tasty dishes, oil, soap etc. It takes in even salty water from the earth and converts it into sweet nutritive water that is especially beneficial to sick people. It is used in the preparation of many ayurvedic medicines and in other alternative medicinal systems.

The marks on the coconut are even thought to represent the three-eyed Lord Shiva and therefore it is considered to be a means to fulfill our desires.

21. Why do we chant Om?
Om is one of the most chanted sound symbols in India. It has a profound effect on the body and mind of the one who chants and also on the surroundings. Most mantras and vedic prayers start with Om.

All auspicious actions begin with Om. It is even used as a greeting - Om, Hari Om etc. It is repeated as a mantra or meditated upon. Its form is worshipped, contemplated upon or used as an auspicious sign.

Om is the universal name of the Lord. It is made up of the letters A (phonetically as in "around"), U (phonetically as in "put") and M (phonetically as in "mum"). The sound emerging from the vocal chords starts from the base of the throat as "A". With the coming together of the lips, "U" is formed and when the lips are closed, all sounds end in "M".

The three letters symbolize the three states (waking, dream and deep sleep), the three deities (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva), the three Vedas (Rig, Yajur and Sama) the three worlds (Bhuh, Bhuvah, Suvah) etc. The Lord is all these and beyond.

The formless, attributeless Lord (Brahman) is represented by the silence between two Om Chants. Om is also called pranava that means, "that (symbol or sound) by which the Lord is praised". The entire essence of the Vedas is enshrined in the word Om. It is said that the Lord started creating the world after chanting Om and atha. Hence its sound is considered to create an auspicious beginning for any task that we undertake. The Om chant should have the resounding sound of a bell (aaooommm).

Om is written in different ways in different places. The most common form symbolizes Lord Ganesha’s. The upper curve is the head; the lower large one, the stomach; the side one, the trunk; and the semi-circular mark with the dot, the sweetmeat ball (modaka) in Lord Ganesha's hand. Thus Om symbolizes everything - the means and the goal of life, the world and the Truth behind it, the material and the Sacred, all form and the Formless.

22. Why do we do aarati?
Towards the end of every ritualistic worship (pooja or bhajan) of the Lord or to welcome an honored guest or saint, we perform the aarati. This is always accompanied by the ringing of the bell and sometimes by singing, playing of musical instruments and clapping.

It is one of the sixteen steps (shodasha upachaara) of the pooja ritual. It is referred to as the lighted lamp in the right hand, which we wave in a clockwise circling movement to light the entire form of the Lord.

Each part is revealed individually and also the entire form of the Lord. As the light is waved we either do mental or loud chanting of prayers or simply behold the beautiful form of the Lord, illumined by the lamp. At the end of the aarati we place our hands over the flame and then gently touch our eyes and the top of the head.

We have seen and participated in this ritual from our childhood. Let us find out why we do the aarati?

Having worshipped the Lord of love - performing abhisheka, decorating the image and offering fruits and delicacies, we see the beauty of the Lord in all His glory. Our minds are focused on each limb of the Lord as the lamp lights it up. It is akin to silent open-eyed meditation on His beauty. The singing, clapping, ringing of the bell etc. denote the joy and auspiciousness, which accompanies the vision of the Lord.
Aarati is often performed with camphor. This holds a telling spiritual significance. Camphor when lit, burns itself out completely without leaving a trace of it. It represents our inherent tendencies (vaasanas). When lit by the fire of knowledge which illumines the Lord (Truth), our vaasanas thereafter burn themselves out completely, not leaving a trace of ego which creates in us a sense of individuality that keeps us separate from the Lord.

Also while camphor burns to reveal the glory of Lord, it emits a pleasant perfume even while it sacrifices itself. In our spiritual progress, even as we serve the guru and society, we should willingly sacrifice ourselves and all we have, to spread the "perfume" of love to all. We often wait a long while to see the illumined Lord but when the aarati is actually performed, our eyes close automatically as if to look within. This is to signify that each of us is a temple of the Lord.

Just as the priest reveals the form of the Lord clearly with the aarati flame, so too the guru reveals to us the divinity within each of us with the help of the "flame" of knowledge (or the light of spiritual knowledge). At the end of the aarati, we place our hands over the flame and then touch our eyes and the top of the head. It means - may the light that illuminated the Lord light up my vision; may my vision be divine and my thoughts noble and beautiful.

The philosophical meaning of aarati extends further. The sun, moon, stars, lightning and fire are the natural sources of light. The Lord is the source of this wonderous phenomenon of the universe. It is due to Him alone that all else exist and shine. As we light up the Lord with the flame of the aarati, we turn our attention to the very source of all light, which symbolizes knowledge and life.

Also the sun is the presiding deity of the intellect, the moon, that of the mind, and fire, that of speech. The Lord is the supreme consciousness that illuminates all of them. Without Him, the intellect cannot think, nor can the mind feel nor the tongue speaks. The Lord is beyond the mind, intellect and speech. How can this finite equipment illuminate the Lord? Therefore, as we perform the aarati we chant;

Na tatra suryo bhaati na chandra taarakam Nemaa vidyuto bhaanti kutoyamagnib Tameva bhaantam anubhaati sarvam Tasya bhasa sarvam idam vibhaati

He is there where the sun does not shine, Nor the moon, stars and lightning. then what to talk of this small flame (in my hand), Everything (in the universe) shines only after the Lord, And by His light alone are we all illumined.

Malaysian Clowns

What???? Again!!!

Malaysians generally agree that Dr.Mahathir put Malaysia on the world Map. I concur both for good and bad. We have to be unbiased on this issue. No doubt he built the tallest Twin towers, 3 longest bridges and the list Goes on. He also managed to put Malaysia on the Map for Sodomy case. And Now I think our current prime minister is trying to match the performance of the former by putting again Malaysia on the world map. If that is the case then Bravo amigo you did it!!!

Damn!!!.... Can anyone apprehend the charges??? I can’t. Sodomy committed by a deputy Prime minister (Then). These Malaysian politicians are either extremely smart in playing the political cards or down right Stupid. My gut feeling says it’s the latter

The first charge it self was damaging enough and now the second???. What the @#$% is wrong with these people.
Are they looking only looking after their best interest or people’s interest?
The people of Malaysia are suffering because of these idiotic morons antics. I can’t imagine how Malaysians leaving overseas would feel each and every time someone comes up and asks about these dramas. Yeah my deputy prime minister ……. I cant even imagine explaining it….. yuckkksssss !!!. Generally Malaysians had enough of these dramas

SO what do we the Malaysian commoners get out of all these drama? 0 yes zero.

Fuel Speculation Scoundrels

What is happening to this damn world??. Why are people so eager to destroy other people’s life?

The hottest talk of the town any where around the world now is ever raising fuel prices and subsequently all others as well. I do not believe the current volatile fuel price is due to lack of production it is simply because some greedy bastards are trying to make some quick money.

It happened in 1998. One man brought the whole world down to it knees and now it is happening again. It just baffles me that these world super powers don’t know what to do about this. I mean, to put it simple, there must be someone or some country behind this price hike why can’t the UN or OPEC countries do some thing about the price.( maybe OPEC is behind this)

Don’t these entities know that they are hurting poor peoples of the world? Don’t these people have any conscious? I swear this people will pay for what they are doing. What goes around comes around. Yeh, Yeh Yeh ….. I have heard it all… its free world, its free market yada yada yada.

Well, it will come back to you mate. Let me teach this morons little bit of math. You make 1 dollar you spend 2 dollar How… here it is … the price of fuel goes up at the stock market, subsequently it trickles downs to the price hike in the fuel pump. Ohh not just that the price of groceries goes goes up because the transporter has to fill his truck with fuel and so and so forth. So you see.. Whoever you are end of the day it still going to hurt your pocket then why the Hell you are doing this.Morons stop thi madness.

Politicians.

In this ideal world, How would an ideal politician would be?
I have this nagging idea that all politicians should declare their incomes and assets. Would it be an ideal thing to do?

You may ask why I am suddenly talking about Politicians. Some how rather these politicians get on my nerve. They are cheaters, liars, scoundrels’ opportunitist and I can go on and on. I do not have choice on how to live the life I want. We are some how govern by the rules made by these politicians in the name of doing good. I hate these bastards.

Since I grew up reading up about Mahatma Gandhi , I always had this notion that politicians should be some how have a life similar to his way life. Not that I am asking them to take a bullet like Gandhi but more in a way that he blends well with the commoners and leading a simple life.

We in Malaysia, have a politician who is exactly fits that description. He is modest, he lives in a wooden house he can be approached by any one. No hassle in meeting him in person so on so forth. He is a Chief Minister of a state in Malaysia. Ideally all politicians should be like that but how many politicians around the world are like that?
No doubt I like this person very much but sad to say I don’t agree with his ideology but he is true people’s politician. He is people's man.

Having Said all the above about politicians I aspire to be 1.Is it for money, for power? Well you have to vote for me to find out wont you?

Tiger woods Wannabe

Recently I picked up playing golf. After all these years why suddenly asked my good friend. I paused for a moment and couldn’t find a suitable answer except for one, my son.
Yes it was my son who inspired me.

My son is only 5 years and he has not picked up golf. The story goes like this, one day over the phone my son mentioned he wants to play golf and he likes golf. The moment I heard that I had this panicky feeling. I was asking my self “do I know how to play golf, How am I going to teach him to play golf as I myself don’t know anything. So I asked my wife how come he is suddenly talking about golf and the answer came He is hooked in Golf video game.

That was a relief but yet it got me thinking. Are we adults nowadays keeping up with our child’s development? The speed these kids growing up are tremendous. I still remember once my son was teaching me how to ON a computer and how to go to Internet and he was then only 4. I can’t even remember what I was doing at that age, probably running around naked.

I think human evolution is at the brink of jumping into the next step. What step is that I don’t know? If we see the human evolution for the last millennia it has been stagnant. Maybe in the next millennia probably human being would communicate thru their minds instead of speech.

Lady Power

I was watching a movie the other day. In that movie, a lady asked a question which got me thinking. The question was "what do people in power want?"

What do people in power want? I am not sure but as you digg deeper into that question and you probably would come to a conclusion that almost all of them wants more power.I am sure everyone has heard about that phrase but I wonder if one has spent time thinking about the question.

People in the power are the ones who shape the nation. The recent example is Robert Mugabe. what do they want? you know the answer.

At 1 point of dwelling at this question I asked my self another question " would this world be any different if the people in power were Women. Imagine all the Nations in the world is represented by women. i really wonder ......

Maybe then we would have peace in this world maybe we would have cleaner air to breath but i doubt Iwould see it happening in my life time. There has been a lot of writings about the greatness of women but yet there is something missing for them to perform great works. I am not saying there are none but very few. There are none to make really an impact to this world so that the men in power would drop everything and start listening.

If you ask anyone, Who is the best women they know in their life? the answer probably would be for a married man his wife and for a bachelor would be his mom but if you ask who is the BEST person probably it would be a guy. Do men have to change their mentality first so that these angels sit and stand equal? So what is missiong then? why they have not leapt to another step what is stopping these angels from saving this humanity from destroying itself?

I simply have no answers to these questions. One thing for sure as long as men are ruling, definitely there will be destruction. History has proven that.

HINDRAF,HINDRAF,HINDRAF

This word has become a household name now. I am not an expert on the issue but somehow rather as a Malaysian I think I am affected by this revolutionary movement.I dont know how or when this word HINDRAF (Hindu Right Action Force) changed to MAKKAL SHAKTHI(People Power) but some how Hindraf is being referred to as makkal Shakthi nowadays. This movement was or is led by a lawyer and many of this organisation members are Professionals.

Basically what I understand about this movement is, that they voiced out very LOUDLY the injustice done to Hindu religion. The ruling government as always does not like anybody talking loud. They feel that no matter how right you are it’s their duty to bring those people who are making loud noises to their knees and beg for forgiveness. In the olden days this was done by masters to slaves . What a mentality these people have!!!!.The question here is why did these people were making loud noise? They tried all venues, the prime minister, the ministers and finally the courts but nothing worked hence the noise.

The injustice begun very long time ago with introduction of the quota system but was never felt by the Indians in Malaysia at that time. As the ruling government became very bold in manifesting their hatred towards the religion, the movement was borne. One may ask what the quota system has to do with the religion. Simple, quota system marginalizes the minority which in Malaysian Context, the Indians and majority Indians practice Hinduism. You may argue that there are other minority races but fundamentally the Malaysian independence was reached with cooperation of 3 major ethnic groups and guess what, 1 of them are Indians. I guess that is the background. As I understand this has nothing to do with other races in Malaysia it was a simple fight to up hold the constitution and to up hold basic Malaysian rights.

A number of incidents happened to these movement leaders who I admit I do admire for their boldness. Then, the rally took place. 20 to 30 thousand people turned up for the rally and all of them were Indians. It was meant to be a peaceful rally but with the interference of police it turned out to be something that Malaysian Indians will not forget for next 20 to 30 years. I would not blame the police because they are just the tools used by these mighty politicians to carry out their dirty works. This rally shook the foundation of Malaysian Indian politics. It sent out a clear message that Malaysian Indians had enough of this injustice and has lost trust in MIC ( Malaysian Indian Congress) the only political party which was representing Indians in the ruling government. As a result of this 5 HINDRAF leaders where arrested under Internal Security Act (ISA) which is imprisonment without trial. The reason given was they are threat to national security. ISA is like a double edge sword which can cut both sides. It can be used for good and bad. Another tool used by the ruling government as whip to silence voices. The government tried all they can to discredit this movement by, name calling, branding them as terrorist, the race issue so on so fourth.

March 8 the judgment day. Out of 14 states, 5 states was lost to opposition party and 3 of them are money making states and the best part of this is, 1 of the HINDRAF leader won the election while still in the detention centre. For any logical thinking human being, they would understand this as that people in that constituency believe and trust that this person truly a champion for their cause and could do well for their constituency. Now mind you that this was fair and legal election.
The only logical thing to do for the ruling government is to release the Leader who has won the election so that he can serve the people in his constituency but they are not doing that. WHY??? Another political game being played or you can call it injustice.

So what these 7 percent Malaysian Indians can hope for from the ruling government? Nothing, nothing at all. Malaysian Indians are still being treated as 3rd class citizens. In the current ruling government’s mind, Malaysian Indians are immigrant workers as they were 100 years and they still are now. I would like to remind these politicians; times are changing you might not be there for long and when the time comes, you will reap what you sow so, be careful what you sow.

All I am asking is basic rights as human being and basic right as a Malaysian. Nothing more and nothing less.

Note: I have purposely left out quite number of incidents in this HINDRAF saga which was widely reported by media.

Frustrated Malaysian

I was not interested in Politics 5 or 10 years back but the way Malaysian politics heading, it has dragged me into it.

Well as the title says I am a frustrated Malaysian who is disgusted of Ultra fanatic ruling government whose ultimate goal is to eliminate basic human rights of freedom speech, freedom of religion so on so forth as stipulated in Malaysian constitution.

I know, I know I am drumming the same beat again as my predecessors but the reality is that it has to be hammered again, again until these people realize that it is a damn wrong thing to do.

During my younger days or during Mahathirs time. The disparities among the races were not so obvious. It was there but was not obvious therefore what you don’t see does not affect you. I still remember my friends who comprises of all races but now you can hardly see any of these races mingling together and this is very evident in the schools

Does this means we have to change our Education system? Yes we have to change so that we produce more intellectuals instead quantity of half boils and definitely to get rid of the quota system. What the heck is this quota system for? to produce moron politicians to rule the country. I know I know it is people's choice to select politician but if the majority of the people are half boils, whom do you expect will be the politician.

Now after the March elections we have seen more QUALIFIED politicians on the opposition. Which is good but, can they uphold their promises. This we have to wait and see.

Today's Dewan sitting has shown that the ruling goverment still wants to hold on to the power while it is slowly slipping away. This is evident in the way the Speaker handled the house. It is very clear he is under the ruling Goverment salary scheme. For GOD sake what is wrong with that idiot? ARROGANCE is the right word for these BN fanatics.

These morons should understand that he is representing the people. you are there to discuss about peoples issue and you are liable and answerable to people not to blabber.People here meaning not 1 race but all the races that voted for you in your constituency. These morons need anger management lessons. I think that should be 1 of the criteria for politicians.

As for me, I want to see changes. I am not asking more all that I am asking is to give us the basic rights as human being and as a Malaysian.
